What is the Avenue of Americas?

Groups, organizations and businesses representing the diversity of the opinions, products and services of America. This area is co-sponsored and organized by the East Side and West Side Business Associations.

Where...

The Avenue of the Americas will encompass Capitol Avenue from Jefferson to Madison—a prime pedestrian thoroughfare leading to the Carnival, Governor’s Mansion, children’s attractions and the downtown area. This year all vendors will be grouped together and a food court will anchor the Avenue.

• Service industries

• Medical, financial, educational institutions

• Arts and crafts vendors

• Farmer’s market vendors

• Antique dealers

• Businesses and individuals offering flea market/garage sale type wares

When...

Set beginning at 7 am; Vending from 11:00 am to 9 pm

Space...

Exhibitors are allotted a 10x20 space that is located on the street. Participants are responsible for their own tents, tables, chairs, decor etc. as well as set-up and tear-down. Unfortunately there is no electricity available and generators are only permitted in the food courts.
