Festival Attractions

Check out the various attracts throughout the Festival District and meet the generous businesses and organizations who sponsor them. There's a little something for everyone at Salute to America.

Fireworks

What would 4th of July be like without the BANG? Learn more about the largest fireworks spectaculars in Central Missouri -- The spectacular Missouri Credit Union Red White and Boom!

Entertainment

On the 3rd, come see the CenturyLink Parade followed by the River Region Credit Union Little Mr. & Miss Contest. The Naught-Naught Agency Opening Ceremony is at 8 pm with a historical re-enactment of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence is followed by our featured entertainment on the Capitol Stage brought to you by Riley Chevrolet and Midwest Block & Brick. On the 4th, enjoy the Missouri American Water Live Eagle Shows and another great free Riley Chevrolet and Midwest Block & Brick concert on the Capitol Stage followed by the Missouri Credit Union Red, White and Boom fireworks spectacular. On both the 3rd and 4th there will be loads of entertainment on the Mike Kehoe Stage on Madison and the Beer Garden Stage.

CenturyLink Parade

One of the highlights of every 4th of July Celebration is our Salute to America Parade that runs through downtown Jefferson City. Scheduled this year for July 3rd at 6:00 pm.

How you can participate

Enter a float in the CenturyLink Parade and win in one of three categories...enter your little darling in the Little Mr. & Miss Independence Contest...have a booth in the Eastside/Westside Business Association's Avenue of the Americas or the St. Mary's/KRCG Kid's Zone... bring your classic car to Route 66 or display your race-related vehicle in the Kehoe Auto Group Pit Row...represent history & military in Jefferson Bank's Heritage Village...lend your musical talent to one of the stages...enter the Best Buy/100.1 The Buzz Guitar Hero Contest...volunteer to help with one of the hundreds of tasks that have to be done to produce this event...become a sponsor and help fund this free event.
