One of the highlights of every 4th of July Celebration is our Salute to America Parade that runs through downtown Jefferson City. This year's theme is Spirit of America. The hometown flavor of our parade has always made it unique to this community and great fun for the young and young at heart. CenturyLink, the parade’s sponsor, is happy to continue the contest for Best of Parade. There will be prizes and certificates awarded in four categories and the winners announced from the Main Stage the evening of the 4th.

 

CenturyLink is honored to announce the 2010 Parade Marshal for the CenturyLink's Salute to America ‘Spirit of America’ Parade will be local area BoyScouts in honor of the 100th year of Scouting.

 

The parade is closed to new applications.

Parade Rules & Entry Application

It's easy to have a float, band, groups or decorated vehicle in the parade. Find out all the information you'll need to participate and download the PDF application form. Hurry, the deadline is June 13th.

Parade Route

Plan out your best vantage point with a map of this year's route. The parade will convene at the city parking lots on Adams and East Miller East Miller. The route will encompass Monroe to High Street. West on High to Jefferson. South on Jefferson Street to East Miller and back to the staging area.
