Welcome to two great days of 4th of July Fun in the Capital City of Missouri! Volunteers still needed! Please email info@salutetoamerica.org This year's celebration will take place July 3rd evening and all day long July 4th. From the Century Link Spirit of America Parade to our featured FREE entertainment brought to you by Riley Chevrolet/Cadillac and Midwest Block & Brick on the Capitol Main Stage to the Missouri Credit Union Red White and BOOM! Fireworks July 4th at dusk, there will be so much to do and see, you’ll want to come all both days and party into the night!
Don't miss this year's Naught-Naught Agency Opening Ceremony July 3rd at 8 pm on the Mainstage. Re-enactors authentically costumed from 1776 will perform the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Back again for 2010 is the Live Eagle Show brought to you by Missouri American Water. Shows will be on the 4th at 3, 5 and 7 pm on the Capitol Mainstage. Vendors and exhibitors will delight you with terrific information and items for sale in the Westside/Eastside Business Association Avenue of the Americas. The kids will love the Carnival Land with great rides including a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round. And be sure to enter your child in the River Region Credit Union Little Mr. and Miss Independence Contest. In the festival district you might meet a real life hero or see re-enactors in Jefferson Bank's Heritage Village, check out classic cars at Carroll Rehma Motors Route 66 or race cars in the Kehoe Pit Row, get free books from Scholastic in the KRCG/St. Mary's Kid's Zone, ride the ponies (or camels!) or just sit back and soak in the scenery. Grab a bite at one of two Coca Cola Taste of Missouri Food Courts, relax in the Goose Island Beer Garden and enjoy entertainment throughout the Festival district all day long on the Mike Kehoe stage at Madison!
