Welcome to 4th of July Fun in the Capital City of Missouri!

July 4th - 11 am - 11 pm

[Events include Entertainment, Festival District, carnival, beer garden, Little River Band and Missouri Credit Union FIREWORKS!]

 

NOTE: For Prison Tours today, tickets must be purchased in advance from the Convention and Visitor's Bureau's tent on Madison Street. Transportation to the prison will be provided. Tours at 2, 3:30 & 4:30 and will sell out early!


You're Invited...From the Century Link Let Freedom Ring Parade to our featured FREE entertainment brought to you by The New Riley Buick GMC and Midwest Block & Brick on the Capitol Main Stage to the Missouri Credit Union Red White and BOOM! Fireworks July 4th at dusk, there will be so much to do and see, you’ll want to come all both days and party into the night!

 

You'll be amazed at the Live Eagle Show brought to you by Missouri American Water on the Capitol Mainstage. Vendors and exhibitors will delight you with terrific information and items for sale in the Westside/Eastside Business Association Avenue of the Americas. The kids will love the Providence Bank Carnival Land with great rides. Be sure to enter your child in the River Region Credit Union Little Mr. and Miss Independence Contest. In the festival district you might meet a real life hero in Jefferson Bank's High Street Heroes or see re-enactors in Missouri River Regional Library/Jefferson City Parks and Recreation's Heritage Village, check out classic cars at Carroll Rehma Motors Route 66 or race cars in the GFI-Ricoh Pit Row, get free books from Scholastic in the St. Mary's Kid's Zone, or just sit back and soak in the scenery. Grab a bite at one of two Coca Cola Taste of Missouri Food Courts, relax in the The Land Shark Lager  Beer Garden and enjoy entertainment throughout the Festival district all day long on the Riley Toyota-Scion Scion stage in the LandShark Beer Garden or the Stage at Madison brought to you by EcoWater and Roedel Cleaning Services!

 

And all new for 2011: FMX Extreme Sports Demos! with freestyle Motor Cross sponsored in part by Xtreme Body and Paint and the SandBlock featuring world-renowned sand sculptor Dan Belcher in celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the Missouri State Penitentiary.

 

Vote in the News Tribune "O Say Can You Sing" Contest and decide who gets to perform the National Anthem at Salute to America
