We need your help!

The Salute to America Celebration is an entirely volunteer driven event. From the planning committee to the day-of staff, managing and running an event of this magnitude requires a small army of people who are dedicated to making sure our Festival is second to none. If you love this celebration as much as we do, consider volunteering and making a difference.

Here's how you can help:

  • Organizations, clubs and civic groups. There are numerous opportunities for your whole contingency to help. Various groups assist with the planning of the themed areas throughout the district as well as staffing for the day of the festival. We need help with set-up, tear-down and all areas in between. This is an excellent way to showcase your community pride.

  • Individuals to help the day of. There are numerous roles to be filled to help make sure the day runs smoothly. Volunteer for the entire event or for a few hours. Either way, your time and talents will be put to good use. For more information on specific jobs and hours, please click here.

  • Serve on the planning committee. There are more than 10 separate committees working toward planning and organizing the Festival. We meet the forth Wednesday of the month for a working lunch. We are always on the search for dedicated individuals to provide leadership and be members of the Festival sub-committees.

If you are interested in helping out in anyway, please print and fill out our Volunteer Contact fax back form or send us an email.
